Hi, I'm Claire, I'm the face of Claire's custom cakes and I have been baking cakes since i was a young child, I've loved creating tasty treats for all the family as far back as I can remember. I spent 6 years working as a chef and it was then I discovered I also had a love and talent for decorating cakes as well as just baking them. In 2013 I moved up to Norfolk and Claire's custom cakes was born and it has just grown and grown. I love what I do and my passion for creating edible art, especially beautiful sugar flowers is only growing day by day and the best part is I can do what i love every day and earn a living at the same time.
I specialise mostly in fondant work but do occasionally do buttercream cakes on request.
I work in my purpose built cakeroom attached to our family home and have a 5 star food hygiene rating from the local environmental health department in Attleborough, South Norfolk.
I launched my business after encouragement from my friends, husband and family and havent looked back since. I take pride in what I do and strive for perfection in all my work. I cater for all occasions no matter the size and every cake is made with the same love and care as the last.
